  My review:       Romance Nº 1   is a piece in three sections, with an accompanied melody texture and a tranquil tempo, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The thematic unity and the constant accompaniment of arpeggios give the piece a sense of cohesion, with a second development section and a third recapitulation section.   My review:

     Mum's Waltz is a moving waltz in three sections, the first and third being the same, contrasting with the second.
    The two outer sections, in the key of D minor and with a moderate tempo, immerse us in an introspective, meditative, and, I would say, nostalgic atmosphere.
    However, the second section, in D major and somewhat faster in tempo, suggests a brighter and more joyful atmosphere.
