  My review:       Romance Nº 1   is a piece in three sections, with an accompanied melody texture and a tranquil tempo, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The thematic unity and the constant accompaniment of arpeggios give the piece a sense of cohesion, with a second development section and a third recapitulation section.  My review:

    Toccata (from the suite "Autumn Daydreams"). This fourth and final piece of the suite is considerably more virtuosic than the others, as its name suggests.

For the Toccata, the composer has chosen a rondo-sonata form (A-B-A-C-B-A), with a lively tempo and a steady rhythm. The double ostinato (one in the right hand and the other in the left) that appears in the main theme of section A is particularly striking. Also noteworthy is the sudden shift from binary to ternary subdivision in section C, which lends the piece a sense of surprise and variety.
