  My review:       Romance Nº 1   is a piece in three sections, with an accompanied melody texture and a tranquil tempo, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The thematic unity and the constant accompaniment of arpeggios give the piece a sense of cohesion, with a second development section and a third recapitulation section. Ronald Karle - Meditation Ten

 My review: 

    Meditation Ten is a piece with a moderate tempo, in which the composer mixes some of the resources used in previous meditations.

    On this occasion, the composer has chosen a melody accompanied by arpeggios.

    The piece is divided into three sections, each of the first two being repeated.

    There is a clear thematic contrast between the central section and the others.

    There is also a slight contrast between the third section (re-exposition) and the first, since, in the third section, the accompaniment, made up of the same arpeggios as the first, is repeated, appearing twice in each bar (in the first section they only appeared once and the other half of the bar, the left hand remained silent).

    It should be noted that Karle claims that his Meditations are pieces to "play at home" in order to relax and meditate.
