  My review:       Romance Nº 1   is a piece in three sections, with an accompanied melody texture and a tranquil tempo, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The thematic unity and the constant accompaniment of arpeggios give the piece a sense of cohesion, with a second development section and a third recapitulation section. Ivanov Basso - Pequena Peça

     My personal opinion:

    Ivanov Basso's Pequena Peça  (Little Piece) is a piano piece in three sections and a coda.

    The first section, which is repeated with minimal variations (adding some grace notes and ornaments), is similar to the third section, which is a restatement of the theme.
    It is characterized by a melody accompanied by flat chords, which mark a constant rhythm, at a lively tempo.
    The second section, or middle section, is totally contrasting, both in character and texture.
    A flourish brings us back to the main theme, which, on this occasion, is not repeated and leads to a coda, with a slower tempo and a more leisurely character than the rest of the piece.
