  My review:       Romance Nº 1   is a piece in three sections, with an accompanied melody texture and a tranquil tempo, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The thematic unity and the constant accompaniment of arpeggios give the piece a sense of cohesion, with a second development section and a third recapitulation section. Lorenzo Milani - Momento Secondo

  My review:

    Momento Secondo by Lorenzo Milani, is a piece characterized by a slow rhythm and a "cantabile" melody accompanied by chords that are rhythmically repeated.

    Actually, it is divided into three sections, although the second and third are varied repetitions of the first. With each repetition, Milani adds new musical elements.

    The composer considers this piece, his Op. 50, as a continuation and closing of the cycle begun by Momento Primo, Op. 29, for violin and piano. Both try to represent, according to the composer's own words, moments of reflection, described with a particular atmosphere.
