Hudson Gimenez - Romance Nº 1

My review:       Romance Nº 1   is a piece in three sections, with an accompanied melody texture and a tranquil tempo, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection. The thematic unity and the constant accompaniment of arpeggios give the piece a sense of cohesion, with a second development section and a third recapitulation section. In fact, it is constructed from a harmonic progression (accompaniment) upon which small variations on the main theme melody are layered.       Gimenez's social links:           Facebook      YouTube      SoundCloud     Enjoy  "Romance Nº 1" ,  performed by Carlos Marín Trigo:

Fredrik Ingå - Flying Home

     My review:

"Flying Home" is a fresh and upbeat piece of music, with a tripartite structure and accompanied melody texture.

It begins with a small introduction, by the left hand, which plays the accompaniment consisting of a series of unfolded chords, which will be maintained throughout the entire work.

The main theme then appears, a melody that is played reinforced at the octave, with a first syncopated motif, which gives the work spontaneity, euphoria and, as I say, freshness.

Said melody will be repeated at a lower octave before moving on to the second section, where, despite maintaining the accompaniment, the melody, in this case, does not appear doubled, which makes us feel a certain calm and sweetness.

After this section, he returns to the second part of the first, that is, to what, at the time, was the repetition to the lower eighth.

Finally, as a coda, it repeats the main theme again, but in a neighboring key, which gives it a certain brilliant air.
